My favorite Minister - Aleksandr Konovalov - will be in Washington, D.C. on Wednesday, November 4 at American University, Washington College of Law. The subject will be "Rule of Law Developments in Russia" and should be very interesting.

Update: Min. Konovalov will also be doing a second event at Arnold & Porter the same day, from 3:00 to 4:15. Joining him will be Dep. Justice Minister Yury Lyubimov - the 32-year-old former student of Medvedev who was appointed in July. I will actually be attending this event, and if there is a Q&A session, I'll ask him when he will become Prosecutor General or Head of the Pres. Administration.
